One of the perks of my job as a fashion stylist is that I get to spend a lot of time around pretty things - during the latest shoot for POSE I worked with shoes from Christian Louboutin and beautiful handmade couture gowns from Michael Cinco. Needless to say it was dreamy...

Hey Lovelies - so many things are going on at the moment that the blog has been suffering a little. Having said that I think what's happening will all lead to bigger and better things and that also includes the future of this site. Fingers crossed! 

In the meantime when I am not blogging I am an avid Instragrammer and you"ll find me there under candyandcookie. 

This week I have posted images of one of my many scented candle collections (I am such a designer candle junkie), my ombre tresses when curly (I kinda like that look), a pair of Louby's that I didn't really want to return after a photo shoot and a healthy breakfast option (protein and berries) amongst other randoms. 

The cheesecake from Jones The Grocer doesn't fall under the healthy category but OMG-enough-said. 

Alright for now - it's Thursday night and I should be out painting the town red but I'm head over heels in creating moodboards for upcoming photoshoots (jug of Earl Grey by my side to keep me caffeinated). Have a great one! X T

What ACNE did for Swedish fashion export Byredo has achieved in terms of scents - the Swedish house of perfume that is modern, minimalistic and way ahead of it's time is a best seller in 25 countries and carried by department stores like Colette in Paris and Barneys in NY amongst others.

I have been a fan of the brand ever since the launch 5 years ago and so I was thrilled to hear that Paris Gallery were bringing the scents to the UAE. I was even more thrilled to hear that I was invited to a lunch with the founder of the brand - Ben Gorham - at the Ritz Carlton hotel in DIFC.

Ben is a very interesting person and we share a few common interests such as surfing, our fondness for tattoo's and general hippie mannerism. Needless to say we had a lot to talk about and I received a bottle of one of my favourite Byredo scents - the musky and smokey Gypsy Water. LOVE.

Weekend low key in terms of outfits (there was a birthday on a yacht but the bubbly distracted me from photography attempts. 

I did however enjoy flaunting around this lime coloured arm candy from D&G and my-wardrobe.com. I'll be wearing it a lot this summer so expect a few more inspiringoutfits soon!

Ah - the most romantic thing happened: since the moon was full last night I asked Le BF if he could take me to a rooftop where we could watch it together.

I asked for A roof and I got THE roof - we watched the full moon from the 127th floor of the worlds tallest building; the Burj Khalifa. Needless to say it was majestic and I left one loved up Cookie.

Last Wednesday I went to a Ralph Lauren event followed by a a few tiki's at Mahiki.

(I was sticking out like a sore thumb amongst the cocktail dress clad ladies at Ralph Lauren, on the other hand I have never been good at blending in ).

The shirts is a fab little chiffon piece from Equipment (available here), the shorts are American Eagle, shoes Louboutin, vintage belt and a clutch from Mulberry. 

The lipstick is my favourite orange red hue from Armani (nr. 401).

A new pair of Louboutin peep toes that for now  decorate my shelves. 

Since I had a girlfriend over visiting from Abu Dhabi I desided to spoil her with home made banana pancakes.

To make the weekend even girlier we had mini facials - above are few of my favourite products at the moment. 

I wore a new dress from Missoni together with a fedora (Ebay) and Benneton boots.

There was ice cream - Dubai is experiencing a heat wave and I am wondering if it's here to stay? 

ZARA home is almost as good as their clothing - all I want is a big home and a large dining room table so I can have friends over for fancy dinners!
