Leaving for Sweden tomorrow and was planning on working on a fab tan to show off at home, instea i am running a million of errands. Poor planning from my side, will end up looking like Casper the friendly ghost once I arrive. Anyhow, errands are being run (quite sure the English in that sentence is far from correct) in following outfit:

Temperaturen i Dubai är 40 grader utomhus, 15 grader och ibland ännu kallare inomhus. Alla älskar verkligen att använda sin luftkonditionering till max. Jag har aldrig ägt så många koftor o scarfs som sen jag flyttade hit! Mina jeans kommer från Genetic Denim och va ganska dyra, men värda vartenda..dirham. Vissa plagg måste i mina ögon vara av bättre kvatitet, och jeans toppar den kategorin. Dyra jeans sitter bättre, och är sydda av klart mycket bättre material. Dessutom har jag alltid tyckt att jag hellre vill ha ett plagg som är dyrt men som jag VERKLIGEN VERKLIGEN  vill ha, än 3 plagg som jag tycker är OK men jag köpte dom för att dom var billigare.

The Dubai climat is 40 deg. C and above outside, 15 deg. C and below indoors, as everyone is A/C mad. I have never owned as many cardigans and scarves as I do now. My jeans from Genetic denim were pricey (Harvey Nichols pricey), but worth every dirham (and fill). Some things just need to be of better quality, and jeans are on top of that list. Expensive jeans have a better cut and superior quality of the fabric. And I have always been a firm believer of the motto - rather one expensive piece I REALLY REALLY like then 3 I like ALMOST as much, but I bought them since they were cheaper.

Yesterday was about catching up with friends over coffee. At the end of the day I had been to 3 different coffeehouses and was all high on coffeine and sugar, but also updated on all the latest gossip.. Anyway, if you ever come to do Dubai and don't know where to coffee, and Starbucks feels a bit last season, I am basically issuing a coffehouse guide here..

Le Pain Quotiden is often mentioned by bloggers from NY, well the chain has opened a few outlets in Dubai, two of them walking distance from my appartment. I love that place.. More restaurants and coffehouses in the UAE should aim to serve organic food!

P.S The title was a Swedish proverb, loosely translated to - it's good to be away, but best to be home..? Sorry, it hardly ever makes sense when you translate proverbs, but you get the geist I hope.

Jag läser veckans Grazia och ser att mitt halsband från New Look (en kedja i samma stil o prisklass som Forever 21) har blivit utnämnt till veckans budgetköp. Kan inte annat än att hålla med! 

I'm reading in this weeks Grazia that a necklace I bought at New Look few weeks ago has been chosen as this weeks bargain buy. I couldn't agree more!

Toppen kommer fr. Phillip Lim, shortsen fr.  New Looks organiska kollektion, jag har bara kortat av dom lite för att få en snyggare kant. Mockasinerna nya, fr. Topshop. Och indian inspirerade örhängen kommer från Forever 21.

Min "fotograf" är på semester och jag får inte till några bra dagens. Så lite improvisation tills vidare. Dagens klänning kommer från Juicy Couture. MC jackan är en favorit från Forever 21, skorna Zara. Har inte riktigt bestämt vilken väska får följa med, men en sak är säker - jag och min outfit är sena! Så nu ska jag logga ut..

My ''photographer" is on vacation and I'm having difficulties with taking good shots of the daily outfits. So I'll improvise for the time being. Today's dress comes from Juicy Couture. The biker jacket is a favorite from Forever 21, shoes Zara. Haven't made up my mind with regards to which bag will come with me, but one thing is sure - me and my outfit are running late!
