My beloved Chloe inspired boots have arrived! And they are much nicer than the Topshop version I wrote about earlier. I will wear them with a light blue boyfriend shirt (one that looks a bit preppy), and cut off jeans shorts, or with girly dresses...

This is another great way of wearing them...Basic t-shirt and slouchy cardigan. Wouldn't say no to the A.Wang bag either, if anyone is giving them out.

Today I visited my friend that just moved into The Address apartments by Old Town and Burj Dubai. I dropped many hints that I would like an invitation to her infinity pool, this blog post being yet another one.

Zara is great when it comes to designer inspired pieces. The good thing with their clothes is that you can clearly see which designer collection they were inspired by, but there are always details that have been altered. That way the pieces never become designer COPIES or KNOCK OFFS. Today I entered the fitting room with at least 8 pieces, had a hard time choosing, so left without buying any. In retrospect I have to say it was a very wise decision. If I had bought all the Zara items I liked, I would have gone straight home and missed the great Jimmy Choo sale at Harvey Nichs. And what a great sale it was!

Anyway, as I was saying.. Designer influences are big at Zara. That Balmain-ish jacket with big shoulders and studs, I like.

Aldo has some nice platforms and shoe-boots in store. I really fell for these beige open toe boots.

Wear them with jeans shorts, an oversized t-shirt and a couple of miss-matched necklaces by day, and a simple LBD for an evening look. Best part? The price, 220 dhs.
