Due to some complications at work, I missed the screening of the Burberry Winter 2010 Womenswear show. I am beyond devastated, which I'm sure you all understand. I'm even more crushed after having seen the collection, as it's a masterpiece!
When looking at a collection, I look for inspiration as in the magic of colours, structures, contrasts. At the same time my practical side chips in and I value wearability. When it comes to the above shown creations I see myself wearing single one of them and that is a very rare occurence.
The bottom two looks especially are my very favourite ones. With the risk of sounding like a broken record - one look that still blows my mind is the ''edgy vs preppy, feminine meets military'' which is so perfectly illustrated here.
I have also decided that it's time for me to invest in a Burberry coat, and the bottom right one with military cut and colour contrast detail has stolen my heart and woken up cravings i didn't think I had in me. Perfection dressed as a piece of outerwear you could say...
