I went on a photo safari in my hood.

I'm so tired I could fall asleep standing up!

My day started at 7 am with makeup and hair fix for my TV appearance. Although I'm in a segment that's 7 min long the recording took almost 3 h - I guess there is a lot of waiting in the world of television. Nonetheless what a fun experience! I've never recorded anything in a TV studio before so I enjoyed every silly little thing like the makeup touch ups, the rehearsal, the sound checks. If anyone else will have me I'm game pal, make me a television star!

Thanks Naima for your makeup artist services (and an artist you are) and thanks Selina for being my style advisor through 17 (!) outfit try on's yesterday.  What would I do without my girlies...

Anyhow anywho here's what we settled for:

I bought THE Temperley belt that I have been obsessed with for the last few weeks, paired it with silky harem pants from Acne and a beaded kaftan from Topshop. Nude Loubs and a simple black H&M tee kept the rest of the look simple.

OTT is the biggest crime in fashion y'all, so with a huge lion head around one's waist one has to keep the rest on the neutral side of things.. But that's just how I roll.

Over and out, gonna fall asleep watching Glee.

Dress: H&M, belt: Asos, necklace: New Look. Top to toe highstreet in other words.

Stumbled upon these cute brooches as Accessorize. I'll wear them with my vintage 70's jeans jacket, oversized white tee and high waisted blue sailor trousers. Cute cute ultra cute!

Recording the Twentysomethin' show for Dubai1 TV tomorrow and I still don't know what I'm going to wear. I could soo freak out right now if it wasn't for my super chic friend Selina who's promised to go shopping with me today.

If I had unlimited funds (and time) I would have really wanted to wear a little somethin' like this:

Love Louis Vuitton?  Check out their new flagship store in London. The store is meant to be the most luxurious one so far and is located on Bond Street.  Peter Marino is the name of the creator and many famous artists have contributed to the shop interior. So now you have one more thing to do/ see when in London town!

Kate Moss for Topshop latest collaboration is now in stores - the boho tops and dresses are very similar to the previous collections (yawn!) but this time Mossy also designed some fabulous summer shorts. Tailored, silky and suede - I want all of the above!

I was browsing through Versace's press releases for SPRING SUMMER 2010 and fell in love with these rustic looking accessories. Love the tan leather, the Medusa logo and the braided details. Gimme!

Seafood and sheesha at Flooka! Can't believe I haven't been there until now... Although it's a Dubai thing, with the abundance of new places catching your attention you easily overlook the classics.
