Cookie Pad, part une

by Teresa 12. December 2011 10:11

In my bathroom - my make up brushes rest in a scented candle box from Zadig & Voltaire. My grapefruit scented body lotion from Jo Malone and my curlers from Shu Uemura are two can't-live-withouts. The powder case from Dior is just to pretty to be hidden away in a cabinett.

In my kitchen: cookbooks (raw food and Hummingbird cupcake bakery, quite the nutritional contradiction haha), specialty teas, caramellized rose petals from Paris, lanterns from Morocco and my flamingo from Miami. Travelling has always been a huge part of my life and I'd like for my home to reflect that...

My baby blue wakeboard from Liquidforce is patiently waiting for me to get better!

Home sweet home!

by Teresa 2. August 2011 18:50

My own bed! Making my own food! My friends! 6 am running sessions on Jumeirah Beach Road! This gypsette is all travelled out for quite some time and so happy to be home...

What I'm looking forward to now is some downtime at home and loads of work on Candy&Cookie! It's time to get the site a facelift, don't you think?

Peace out Lovelies, stay tuned for some awesome changes here on the blog.

My dream home part II.

by Teresa 16. July 2011 13:04

I have stumbled upon yet another perfect interior spread.

This soulful house belongs to a Swedish interior designer and she has managed to mix Scandinavian minimalism with ethnic influences in a way that really makes me crave a house of my own. Have a look for yourselves...

So rustic yet so bright and airy! Interior perfection don't you think?

Home and away.

by Teresa 23. May 2011 15:18

Evil eye protection from the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul.

Which is also where I found this handpainted bowl. Good for storing jewellery at my bedside table.

The vintage VOGUE poster came with meall the way from Paris...

and so did the Coca Cola for Karl Lagerfeldt. Pretty no? I don't think that I will ever actually drink them!

The fox mask was a part of the Mulberry gift bag. I decided that I am not as cool as Alexa Chung and don't have the guts to wear it out and about, but I like it on my wall instead.

My dream home

by Teresa 10. April 2011 14:18

People? What happened to comments? You were on a wild streak for a while and it's gone quiet again, oh well. Doesn't make me love ya any less!

Many of you ask about interiors and whilst I am not at home and can't show you a complete tour of my casa have a look at these images I found whilst browsing around interior blogs. A severe case of OMG! I have found my perfect home - everything from the colour scheme to the mix of old and new is bang on Candy&Cookie. Amore!

Orangina

by Teresa 1. April 2011 21:23

Seems like I am not the only one that likes to use the Hermes boxes as a vibrant splash of colour in my otherwise very monochrome interior.

A supercute jewellery hanger has moved in at my casa. It's as functional as it is pretty. From Ginger&Lace.

DIY

by Teresa 25. March 2011 15:24

Procrastinating like there is no tomorrow! Instead of responding to 200 emails I am surfing around the net browsing through interior and design blogs.

This vintage teapot lamp is a DIY project. I am massively jealous over people that are this handy and creative. One of these days when I have more time than sensibility I will make one for my ultra girly bedroom. (Albeit I really doubt it will be any time soon haha, I'm more likely to just pick up any good ol' IKEA piece haha).

Move over Diptyque and Jo Malone - I was thrilled to discover that Bloomies has Voluspa candles. Suede Blanc and Snowflake - 2 Candy&Cookie favvs.

Casa de Candy&Cookie

by Teresa 19. February 2011 18:34

Working from the 'home office'. Swedish radio keeping me company and the pile of magazines is something to look forward to when I have finished all the ''to do's'' for today.

In the meantime I thought of giving you a few more sneak peaks of my casa!

I bought a clothes horse and decided that my favourite pieces du jour should be visible, for daily injection of inspiration - right now I seem to be in a ''Serena Van Der Woodsen''period - pastels, sequins, ruffles and sheer mixed with knitted. (The clothes horse is great for when I am planning outfits for photo shoots, too..)

Swedish readers - note the tassels. Who do you think was the inspiration to that? Smile

My calendar from Ordning & Reda is the perfect Hermès orange, so that's where it get's to live when it's not in my purse. And the turquoise painting is one of my own ones.

An old French cookie jar is where I keep my make up pencils. The brushes holder used to be a Jo Malone candle and the Lanvin toiletteries came from one of the hotels in the Maldives I once stayed at. Lanvin baby!
