When
the weather in Paris turned all gloomy I decided to stay in, order
roomservice and watch some TV. Stumbled upon "The Kennedys" and watched
all 8 episodes in one go! It was surprisingly good and had initially
written it off because of Mrs Scientology but she really stepped up to
the role and played a stunning and gracefull Jackie Bouvier Kennedy
Onassis.
Of course the fashionista in me had to 'ooh' and 'aaah'
over the outfits! 42 outfits especially made for the 8 episodes of the
show, all made out of vintage fabrics from the 1960's. The lovely pink
suit - an exact copy of the one Jackie wore on the very famous day of
the assasination of John Kennedy (and I burst out in tears - true) was
especially made for this role by Giorgio Armani. UNFORTUNATELY
apparently due to protest from the Kennedy family the show had to go off
air as it portrayed the Kennedys in a rather unflattering manner.
