After having spent the last few days at home in my jammies (pre surgery bed rest is no fiesta and I am reaching into my deepest wells of zen trying not to get eaten up by frustration and excess energy), I LITERALLY jumped at the opportunity of getting dolled up and going to the Emirates Woman Magazine ''Woman of the Year'' awards.

It has been what feels like ages since I felt like a fashion blogging saucy Cookie and so therefore I decided to bring out the big guns.

Et voila! As my photographer extraordinnaire pointed out, the floor tiles totally complimented my dress! It was not intentional but looks tres cool!
